The A Team: Our Fall 2017 Lookbook is Here!

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” ― Helen Keller

For this year's fall lookbook, I reflected on my journey with Grey Rock. In the words of Sam Cooke, "change is gonna come" for us here at Grey Rock. The leaves are rustling and hopefully we will have an update for you soon. But through this process, I have thought a lot about the importance of teamwork. From the people who make our coffee so we can stay fuelled to my staff to our customers and family and friends - the Grey Rock team is not just one person or one group - it is our community. And I have never be more proud to have been a part of it.

So for this year, the focus is on  just that - our team. Each of the models exemplify this and I am incredibly grateful for their involvement in our little world.

To highlight our customers, we have Allyson Singh, the fantastic winner of our Fall Lookbook Model Contest. For the people that keep us going with good food and good laughs, we couldn't not include members of the Miijidaa team. Thanks to Aaron and Jacob for coming before their shifts to model for us. And to talk about the family, we have Courtney's partner Nick.

Which leads me to my final models - my staff. Often too busy to even consider modelling, it was time for them to shine in front of the camera. Through the years you've gotten to know Dallas and Courtney. They are truly two pillars in this team that without them, I can't imagine where we'd be today.

This lookbook would be impossible without the team behind it. Thank you as always to our photographer guru Julia Busato. Thank you to Rachel B Pretty for her fantastic vision, and Simon and Alex from Malkim for making our manes look flawless. And of course, to Miijidaa for being our second home.

So cheers to apple picking and crunching leaves and chunky sweaters to come. We hope you enjoy this year's lookbook and we look forward to see you in these items for our fifth anniversary celebrations, which this year will be September 22nd to 24th.
